HEATCORD, how does it work?

1. By simply walking around with HEATCORD, you are contributing with “Heat” that allows us to build a real time heat map with our users locations and social media signals - we collect signals from the most popular social Apps out there. The areas with most people are shown in red.

2. You can tap on the heat map and you’ll be able to see which places are in the most crowded areas.

3. Is there something you want to share about a certain place just go ahead and write a post. You can also connect with others going or being at different places to find out what’s going on right now.

4. Check out the latest pics and videos coming up from that place.

• HEATCORD was designed by and for a community willing to share their location and contribute to crowd source the world’s first popularity based heat map. The more people join, the better HEATCORD gets.

• Here at HEATCORD we take privacy seriously, so your location as an individual will never be shown on the map. But still You will be a part of the heat map creation.

• In HEATCORD you will not receive direct messages, all communication happens on an open bulletin board/wall that belongs to every place. The @ feature is used to mention an specific user.

“It’s easy to just locate mainstream venues with any location app, but finding out whether the place has a good buzz or not is an entirely different story. This app cleverly generates a heat map, providing you with a virtual tour of the area...” Swedish Startup Space, August 2014.

“Just like heat, the blue stands for cold, which means low activity, whereas red stands for hot, meaning the area is buzzing with people. That in mind, the app can work either as a means to find multitudes, or alternatively avoid largely populated nightclubs.” Nordic Startup Bits, March 2014.
